My, isn't this ironic.

Not only do I have no sense of direction, I also do not have a sense of time.
As I was about to log off from this long-neglected blog of mine, I saw my post from months ago about me promising with all my heart and soul that I would pass my thesis on time. It's August now hon. Way to go.

Creative visualization? I should save that for short-term goals.

Ok ok, I'm out. Seriously. ;)

Battling Procrastination

Seriously, I have to cease these endless daydreams and start chasing after them. The internal dialogues I have been imagining for quite some time now should be lessened. I will now "try" to finish this thesis of mine so I could resume with my quest of knowledge for knowledge's sake. The marketability and/or utility of the subject matter is of no importance to me. I firmly believe that whatever is vital in this physical world cannot be equated in the rewards in store for what we do. The pleasure in the assurance that a once deemed impossibility becoming feasible is enough for me to become satisfied. Toying with ideas to stimulate our mental processes is the best way to keep ourselves happy and contented. But of course, since I need to buy books to sustain my interests, money is of importance.

Oh well, back to doing my thesis.

No more negativity!

I've had enough of it/them.

Before May reaches the 15th I should have submitted my first draft.

Hype! Hype! Hype!

Tomorrow is Saint Valentine's Day...

Ever since we tackled "Hamlet" in our Shakespeare class, my idea of Valentine's Day changed dramatically. I could still remember being seated in the dark AVR and watching Ophelia sing "Tomorrow is Saint Valentine's Day..." Haha! Now it's a day before the 14th and I seriously got the lyrics stuck inside the thing I call head.

OPHELIA:

Pray let's have no words of this; but when they ask,
you what it means, say you this:
[Sings.]
Tomorrow is Saint Valentine's day,
All in the morning betime,(55)
And I a maid at your window,
To be your Valentine.
Then up he rose and donn'd his clo'es
And dupp'd the chamber door,
Let in the maid, that out a maid(60)
Never departed more.  [enotes.com]

Dutiful

Tada.

The mall? Oh yeah it is fun... but not when you go there 4 times a week. Even the chicken meal was not as satisfactory as it usually was. We were bored. Freaking bored. And boredom is like a contagious disease that you can easily spread to your companions.

Another factor contributing to my boredom: I was financially depleted.
When you're out with your friends, money means happiness. (especially when you're in a mall and everywhere you look a food chain catches your greedy eyes.)

Is back--- indefinitely

It's 2011 and I'm a year older. I hope this equates to me being wiser too.

It's all about thesis now.

Me (talking to myself)

"There's more to life than thesis."

"Yeah. But you won't see more of life if you don't do your thesis."

*does thesis*
